Miriam Akhavan-Tafti is a multi-disciplinary artist who focuses on writing and acting. Miriam attended Columbia University and earned her BA in MESAAS: Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies. She holds three Certificates from NYU: one in French, one in Digital Filmmaking, and one in International Business and Trade. She has been acknowledged by screenwriting contests ten times to date, including Austin Film Festival, ScreenCraft, London Film Awards, Table Read My Screenplay, and Scriptapalooza. Currently based in Los Angeles, she has recently graduated from UCLA and is a licensed attorney.
When I was 17 I got the opportunity to visit Italy during high school for art education. These were some of the drawings I made of some of the masterpieces we saw during my time there.
